Course Enquiries
Anyone using a marine VHF radio or other marine radios must have their own Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Certificate (ROC). Each person on the boat who will use the radio needs their own card.
There are significant fines for using a VHF or marine radio without a valid certificate. It is the law!
VHF Maritime Radio is a prerequisite course for the Intermediate level.
Prerequisites: Basic Cruising Standard
Program Format:
3 hours of training with a 60-question multiple-choice test and oral segment.
Exam every second week of the month by additional schedule.
Exam: 60-question multiple-choice test and oral segment.
